Missing Library Mac

Missing Library Access

So the problem is, for whatever reason, your original library file with all of your master photos is missing — or iPhoto can no longer find it to load it up for you. Instead, it's loading either another library file you created at one time, or worse, it's created a new and therefore empty library file so you are seeing no photos or events at all. To hide the /Library folder, use the following Terminal command. Chflags hidden /Library. Press enter or return. Note: If you had a Finder window open on your home folder, you may still see the Library folder listed. The Finder window needs to be refreshed to bring it up to date.

May 30, 2019 Despite the fact that Apple keeps the Mac Library folder hidden from users, it’s good to learn how to show the Library folder on Mac. You may need to access the Library folder when you need to clear cache, remove the app’s leftovers, edit preference files manually, etc. To reveal the /Library folder using Invisiblix, launch the application, choose File Browse Hidden Files, and then choose your /Library folder in the navigation dialogue. In the next Invisiblix window, uncheck Hidden to make the /Library folder visible. Likewise, to rehide the /Library folder follow the same procedure as above and check Hidden. Your /Library folder will now be hidden in Finder.
